Kendall Creative Change

Unfolding Change
A team or group is in essence a society with its own culture and traditions. The members that comprise this group bring with them individual experiences, habits, and expectations, that all become a part of the group culture. Creative experiences help us embrace diversity, ambiguity, and contradiction. Creative thinking fosters self-awareness and self-advocacy. The stronger and more self-aware the individual, the stronger and more effective the group will be.
The following images present a few samples of possible guided creative sessions. Activities can include writing prompts, guided feedback and reflection, and discussions about process, problem-solving, and group dynamics. They can be either virtual or in person. Length can vary from one hour to multiple day session/meetings.

Exploring Boundaries with Book Arts

Stick with Symmetry

Symmetry is a fundamental, familiar concept: from the simple symmetry of our face to the complex rotation of an Escher artwork. This activity invites people into creative thinking through a door that feels both comfortable and challenging. Using sticky notes and scissors participants will begin by exploring simple repetition and them move into more complex patterning and more complex thinking.
